Hello, I am travel blogger Jones Go. Today, I would like to introduce you to BLUE HOUSE COFFEE, a hidden gem cafe in Da Nang. I hope this article will give you a special Da Nang travel experience.
Meet the Young Barista Serving Up Da Nang's Best Coffee
BLUE HOUSE COFFEE, located in Da Nang, is a home-style cafe with a local feel. This place is more than just a cafe; it offers a special experience.
Reason for visiting the Young Barista Serving Up Da Nang's Best Coffee
I always enjoy exploring hidden local spots. Considering the atmosphere and price, I thought BLUE HOUSE COFFEE was a must-visit place. First of all, there are many delicious cafes in Da Nang. What is unique about this cafe is that it is a home-style cafe. And the coffee is made by an elementary school student. But don’t ignore them just because they are elementary school students.
First of all, they serve sweet tea with flowers that are carefully brewed. And I was able to learn the secrets of running a store diligently from the young owner. He continued to manage the store.
What's special about this cafe
The biggest feature of this cafe is that an elementary school student makes coffee. But don't worry! The young barista's skills are really amazing. I was able to witness the sincerity and passion of the young owner while drinking sweet flower tea here.
Salt coffee review of Da Nang's Best Coffee
I ordered salt coffee. Since I was in Hanoi, I have been drinking salt coffee from almost all regions of northern Vietnam. Yes, I will start this post to tell you about the salt coffee I have tried.
Comparison with Cafe Tòte in Hanoi
The best salt coffee I have ever had is Cafe Tòte in Hanoi. The salt coffee at this cafe tastes similar to Korean Joripong, and it has a characteristic of soy milk flavor. First of all, I have yet to find a store that beats my favorite store, Cafe Tòte - Đặng Thái Thân in Hanoi. I will mention this store often when I talk about salt coffee.
First of all, if you compare it to this store, Cafe Tòte tastes like Joripong cookies in Korea. The snack called Joripong is a cereal that you can eat with milk in the morning, and it is a sweet snack that tastes like chocolate and coffee. Another unique thing is that Cafe Tòte tastes like soy milk, not milk. This is the freshest shock.
Joripong, which tastes like salt and soy milk, invites me to a world beyond my imagination. And the unique triangular glass that can contain this feeling is just right. I also like this glass. I felt that it went well with the salt coffee I ordered and the ice. I haven't found a store that can beat this store yet. If you do, please contact me.
Characteristics of BLUE HOUSE COFFEE's salt coffee
BLUE HOUSE COFFEE's salt coffee is not as good as Cafe Tòte, but it is still delicious. The cream has a sweet cheese-like taste, and the coffee itself is sweet like Korea's Maxim coffee. Let's continue with the main text. BLUE HOUSE COFFEE is a type of salt coffee that is similarly shaped and served in a glass cup of similar height and size not only in Hanoi but also in other regions. The shape is similar, but the taste is a bit different. First of all, I will not compare it to Cafe Tòte's salt coffee. I hope the moment comes when I compare it to this place. When comparing salt coffees from other places, the cream on top of the coffee is important, and the cream on top of the salt coffee I ordered at this store had a slightly cheesy feel.
It was creamy, but it was a kind of creamy cream that felt like cheese, but sweet. The cream was fresh. When I visited other places, I had tasted stale cream, and it was very unpleasant at that time. On the other hand, this place serves fresh cream. And the coffee does not use bitter coffee. The coffee here is sweet when you drink it. Usually, when you compare the ratio, you see more coffee with a strong bitter taste in other places.
However, the coffee here was so sweet that it reminded me of Maxim coffee, a Korean instant coffee. This store obviously doesn't use Maxim, which is Korean instant coffee, but the sweet flower tea and salt coffee that were served first seemed to go well together. It reminded me of a well-made harmony.
Cafe atmosphere and overall evaluation
BLUE HOUSE COFFEE boasts a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The harmony of salt coffee and flower tea was really good. It's a place I want to visit often in the future.
